By using AfterWords, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not access or use the Services. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service.
2. Description of Services
AfterWords provides a platform for uploading, storing, and transforming personal content such as voice recordings, photos, and text into scheduled messages and legacy experiences. Certain features require a subscription.
3. User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and credentials.
- You agree not to use the Services for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
- You warrant that all content you provide is owned by you or you have legal rights to use it.
4. Subscription & Payment
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis unless canceled. Fees are non-refundable, except where required by law. Pricing and plans may change with notice.
5. Intellectual Property
The Services and all intellectual property therein (excluding user-generated content) remain the property of AfterWords, Inc. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Services without express authorization.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you upload. By submitting content, you grant AfterWords a license to process, store, and deliver it as part of the Services. You affirm your content complies with all applicable laws.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms or misuse of the Services. You may terminate at any time by discontinuing use and requesting account deletion.
8. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” without warranties. AfterWords disclaims all liability for indirect or consequential damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of Liability
Our liability to you will not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 12 months prior to the claim.
10. Governing Law
